Good morning everyone,
What a busy time it's been;
Last Saturday I was at Sir Stampalot with the lovely Derby Dabblers showing them how to make a mini album using the lovely floral shoppe papers from Graphic 45.We had such a good time and they created such beautiful albums, thank you Janice and Andy for asking me and for all the yummy refreshments.
Check out SirStampalot as there's still time to book a place for a repeat crafting weekend where you can make this album and some amazing cards by Louise, Crafty Lou and Chris.

I'm so excited....on Tuesday I'm back on Hochanda doing an Oakwood album show.
I've designed and put together some packs to make a lovely mini album and a drop side box album, similar to the one I originally made up for my lovely niece Rosie.
There will also be some amazing dies from LaLaLand which are perfect for adding a lovely touch to your albums......sneaky peek tomorrow.

My drop side box album decorated with Gaphic 45, French Country collection. I've designed it so the page size can use 8" x 8" papers.
There's plenty of space at the front and back to allow space to make a larger folder pocket to fit in a mini-mini album if you wanted to.

Here's an 8" x 6" mini album using Natures Sketch papers - this is one of my favourite collections.

Here's an 8" x 6" album with ribbon closures using the fabulous Fairy Dust collection.

  3. I too enjoyed the show on Hochanda and also ordered a drop side box and a mini album as a starter, because I've never made an album before. It's only thanks to your clear instructions that I felt able to attempt these, please be warned I may have many questions. Thanks Suexx

  5. Hi Maggie Only just got around to starting my Mini Album and already confused...why does it say cut 1 Spine in chipboard
    8 1/2 x 2 inches? The sides of the album are 6inch! Whats the extra for?Is this a misprint. Suexx

    2. Hi Sue,
      So sorry I thought I'd replied to your other message, yes this was a typo, the spine should be the same depth, i.e 2" x 6" as the covers, there is a correction on a later post. Hope that all makes sense now. I have done some page layout instructions that correspond with the fairy dust pages on a later post; if you'd like some, or have any more questions, please let me know, thanks.

  6. Hi Maggie
    Watched Leonie as recommended with the drop-side box, and absolutely loved the samples you let her show, especially the seaside one with graphic 45 papers. is there any chance of you posting pictures as you've done with your others I'd very much appreciate the inspiration. Thanks again for all you've shown me.
    Suexx
